Please note that dark blue band of water spanning from south of Hawaii to Baja California.
Please note the La Nina conditions extensively along the equatorial region of the Pacific Ocean.
Significance?
If these conditions continue throughout the fall and winter, we will be experiencing extremely dry atmospheric conditions leading to flows in the Klamath falling below 450 cubic feet per second. We could very well witness another severe die-off in the Klamath.
