While masks or other facial coverings have been mandatory inside a building, such as a grocery store, or in other public situations where individuals are unable to maintain a 6-feet distance since April 24, many folks are also regularly using gloves to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

But there is a trick to properly removing the gloves to avoid contamination, which would, of course negate the whole effort. In the video below, Humboldt Bay Fire’s firefighter-paramedic Traci Kroll shows us how it’s done by a professional. And, please, remember to properly dispose of used gloves. None of us wants to find one in a grocery cart or littering local parking lots.

  1. Not sure if I saw this right but it seemed like Traci might have contaminate herself when she pinched the second glove with the inside of the first glove and then touched that spot with her bare hand at second 59 of the video…???
