Give the people what they want: National Security. Economics and demographics have been combined to identify an “Enemy in our midst”.

It’s embarrassing.
We have more noble and important things to do.
The only crime these folks have committed is to support their families.
I just don’t think it’s so much Bush as it is a national mindset. But, when you consider the numbers of “our own” who chump the system, these hardworking folks who bust their butts, should be thanked.
Seems like the feds should concentrate more on reducing the national debt instead of persecuting people with a true work ethic.

I would gladly have taken any maid or nursery work job when I lived in San Diego, raising a baby on my own. I had to go on Welfare because all the entry-level work was overtaken by illegal aliens – that U.S. employers could deny costly benefits and health care. I finally left San Diego because my neighborhood turned into a “barrio” with mexican gangs and rampant crime, helicoptors, razor wire…and folks in Eureka are welcoming all this with open arms by inviting refugees from the third-world country to our south. I guess you’ll just have to experience this for yourselves…and it IS coming!

this is a fun game…let’s blame the MEXICANS for all that is wrong with our country!!!! (because certainly that kind of thing doesn’t happen in non-mexican neighborhoods)

People know, when they come here to work illegally, that they might get busted. If you’re an employer, and you knowingly hire illegal immigrants as your workforce, you know that the hammer might come down on you someday. It’s the gamble that you take when you knowingly engage in illegal activities, especially when you base your livelihood on it. Greedy corporations love to hire illegals, because they can pay them sub-standard wages and are willing to expose them to dangerous chemicals, as if they were disposable workers. There is a process for acquiring citizenship and work permits for just about any country, so go through the proper channels or accept the consequences if you get caught.
wow, never considered Shunka a law-and-order type. Does this mind-set also cover trespassing and physically stopping a company from implementing legal logging permits? I find his last statement truely humerous:
