Correction
Last week’s “From the Publisher” column contained some factual errors. Rex Bohn was elected to the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors in June, and the board, rather than any one supervisor, voted to appoint Lee Ulansey to the county Planning Commission. Also, former supervisor Erv Renner smoked a pipe, not a cigar.
