I’ll be Keith Henty’s guest on The Jefferson Exchange tomorrow morning a little after 8, talkin’ Humboldt County economic blues. Catch it on JPR’s Classics & News Service — 91.5 FM around Humboldt Bay, or streaming live at ijpr.org.

Why not let Sharon Letts do it? She needs the gig.
You’re venturing into troll territory, here, pal. One more and you’re banned.
You misunderstand me. I wasn’t bashing on Sharon, who I don’t really know but have nothing against. I liked her stories and column in the Times-Standard. I’m not the Good Riddance person who has been posting those cruel comments about her. I was just trying to be humorous. Apologies if that didn’t quite work out.
OK — carry on.
I won’t make light of someone’s misfortune again.
I feel for Sharon and everyone who is going to suffer employment pain during this downturn. After reading the Town Dandy today, it’s evident those who work in the local media are feeling unease right now. I hope you can assign a juicy freelance story to Sharon when your budget is restored.
I will make sure to catch you tomorrow on JPR.
You are absolved, my child.
So I see a car hitting the intersection of g and samoa at about 80, smoking tires, car going sideways.. going wtbleep, start running up to the edge of fourth street market, thinking I might have to save a life, right before I see a cop car behind it with lights blasting and no siren. See this car wrecked at figarido’s, (sorry for the mispelling) cops pulling up in seconds with guns drawn (did everything properly in my eye from 50 yards away, but then again, I love our officers in uniform who do not get enough credit from my standpoint). Anyways, I know this is probably the worst place to post this, but I can not find any news on it on the internet for any local. And this was insane to see.. Can anyone point me in the direction to understand why these guys were sideways doing about 80 at this time of night at samoa and G?

Jesuchristo. You might have to wait ’til tomorrow for answers, but what a story.
