The 47th running of the Foggy Bottom Milk Run, presented by the Six Rivers Running Club, will be held Sunday, March 8 in Ferndale. The 4-mile race begins at noon, the 10 mile race begins at 12:05 p.m., and the 2-mile race at 2 p.m. All events start and finish on Main St. in Ferndale. Remember Daylight Savings and to set your clocks so you don’t miss the race! 

The 2-mile race includes a school and youth group competition. Teams from schools and youth organizations throughout Humboldt County will be competing to take home one of the 5 coveted cow trophies! 

All 2-mile finishers will receive a finisher’s ribbon. The 4- and 10-mile races will award first place overall finishers as well as first-third place finishers in age groups in five-year increments, male and female. Chocolate milk will be waiting at the finish line, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Humboldt Creamery. 

Registrations received by Feb. 6 are guaranteed a T-shirt with entry. Pre-registration will be open online until Thursday, March 5. 

Entry fees: 

2-mile entry (age 14 and under)- $15; 2-mile (age 15 and over)- $25; 4-mile- $35
10-mile- $45 

Late registration will be available at Portuguese Hall in Ferndale Saturday and Sunday of race weekend, with an increase of $10 for each race.
