In 2025, the Visiting Angels Eureka team raised $102,022 for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Their total included $15,000 contributed by Blue Lake Casino Hotel through its Donation Days campaign. In addition, Blue Lake Casino Hotel sponsored the Humboldt Walk with a $5,000 sponsorship. This generous support helped the Visiting Angels team finish second in the nation for total funds raised, earning them $55,000 in incentives from Visiting Angels CEO Larry Meigs.
