During the 2025 October’s 150th Annual State Grange Convention, which was held at the Van Duzen Grange #517 in Carlotta, attendees participated in an Apron Auction. Aprons were modeled by several of the men in the organization. As participants strutted across the room in their Aprons, others bid on the Apron they wanted. As a result, participants at the convention raised $1,085. Funds raised during this event were donated to the Visiting Angels Walk to End Alzheimer’s team.
This generous gift helped the Visiting Angels team finish second in the nation for most money raised which earned them $55,000 in incentives from the National Visiting Angels CEO, Larry Meigs. The 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held on Saturday, October 10 at the Adorni Center. Register today at alz.org/humboldtwalk
