Rob Dehlinger (left), of Pittsburg and a member of the Stompy Jones group that performed second on Thursday at the Adorni Center, joined the Zane Middle School Jazz Band. Dehlinger had performed under the direction of Zane’s Bruce McCay from 1986-88 when he was in a Pittsburg junior high school band. -

Brett Granstrom, of North Bend, Oregon, ended a swing dance with Keri Ricker, of Eugene, with a dramatic dip to the music of Tom Rigney & Flambeau. Granstrom and Ricker taught a West Coast Swing workshop at the music festival. -
