Humboldt Pride Grand Marshal Sister Juana Little of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence led the 23rd annual Humboldt Pride Parade in Old Town, Eureka on Saturday, Sept. 12 and later received the Outstanding Individual Award at the Festival in Halvorsen Park. -
“We Are Queer History” was the theme for the parade and festival. -
Sue Lee Mossman and several others from the Humboldt Unitarian Universalist Congregation carried a message of love and support. -
Marcus Schaible and Tina Tvedt, of Eureka, pilot their human-powered sculpture Flaming Farmers. -
Large crowds gathered in Old Town along with shutterbug Mark Lovelace. -
Romi Hitchcock-Tinseth and Gren Tinseth, of Arcata, showed their support by marching in matching message T-shirts. -
Adrienne Wohlfeil, of Fortuna, and Amanda Gard, of Arcata were fabulous. -
