Two Dell’Arte students clowned their way through the parade. -
The Samba na Chuva dancers headed toward the main parade route during the 51st annual Annie and Mary Parade in Blue Lake. -

Mandy Mager, Blue Lake city manager, was named grand marshal of the parade; she was accompanied by her daughter Maia. -
Members of the Mad River Old Crows, a men’s service group in Blue Lake, tossed candy and socialized with the crowd along the parade route. -
A favorite among the Bill Nessler Car Show line up was this 1950 “bullet-nose” Studebaker owned by Abe Souze, of Eureka. “They called it the ‘mug-rump’ model because the rear deck was as lengthy as the hood,” he said. -
Mary (aka Janine Volkmar) chatted with Michael Welch, of Arcata, along the parade route. -
