Humboldt Bay Fire is advising that smoky conditions related to the Red Salmon Complex and other fires burning in the south are affecting local air quality.  In a news release this morning, Humboldt Bay Fire says that winds moving up from the southwest will push smoke and ash toward Eureka, the greater Eureka area and beyond.

The release advises people with sensitivities to stay indoors and avoid prolonged activity. All others are advised to limit prolonged or heavy activities and time spent outdoors.

For more on the advisory, read the full press release below.
