UPDATE: All Clear at Trinidad Scene After Ordnance 'Retrieved'

UPDATE:

Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office issues the all
clear, saying the Air Force ordnance disposal team has retrieved the explosive
and residents have been “advised it is safe to return home.”


PREVIOUSLY:

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to “stay clear” of the area near Highland Avenue in Trinidad after the property owner discovered a “military-grade ordnance” at a residence on the street’s 700 block.


According to a tweet, members of Clear Lake’s Beale Air Force Base explosive ordnance disposal team are onsite.

“Residents nearby are being moved to a safe location,” the tweet states. “Public is asked to stay clear of area.”
