Fortuna Facing Water Woes After Main Break

If you live in Fortuna and are having some water issues, here’s what’s going on.
Workers are tackling a broken main on Smith Lane that will leave some residents without water access for most of the day, while others may experience discoloration due to hydrants being flushed, according to the city’s Facebook page.
Residents are asked reach out to city hall at 725-7600 if they need assistance or additional information.

Please be advised that City Utility crews are working to repair a water line main break on Smith Lane.
Some residents will not have access to water for most of today.
City staff are also flushing hydrants in the area, however, surrounding areas may experience discoloration in their water.
Please contact City Hall if you require more information or assistance.
