Editor:
“Not Impressed” is how I’ve often felt within the realm of politics. Carol Moné’s letter (“Not Impressed,” Dec. 4) shows that our community isn’t buying the lie we are fed; that our needs simply can’t be addressed. This ruling-class duopoly and its good-cop-bad-cop trope has lost my patience, it seems to have lost yours, too. In response, I have turned toward the revolutionary voice of Dr. Butch Ware. His Green Party gubernatorial campaign is people-powered; he knows that “who funds you runs you.”
As he rejects all corporate, super PAC and lobbyist money, our voices are heard.
Universal health care, tuition-free higher education and an end to the housing and homelessness crisis will be within sight. Our state tax dollars will no longer fund ICE raids, war and genocide. Basic needs will be met and mutual aid networks will be supported.
Visit butchware4gov.com and allow yourself to be thoroughly impressed.
