Doctors and lawyers convinced us years ago that we were too stupid to sit in judgement on them and we allowed them to form the BAR Assn. and the A.M.A. so they could be judged by a jury of their peers. I used to believe that that was b.s. and that the average person while maybe not being able to understand all medical jargon or deceitful law jibberish is capable of knowing evil when they hear, see or smell it and could judge these folks. But with the internet having installed a series of tubes ( a notion put forth by the late Alaskan Senator Stevens, may he Rest In Peace) that spew lies and twisted data right into our homes and brains I now believe that it has become increasingly difficult to find 12 peers of anyone. We will all likely applaud masked tribunals when they arrive, if that is what Facebook desires.
