The Times-Standard is reporting a Humboldt County stay-at-home protester’s sign went viral yesterday as people on social media are calling the racist sign deeply offensive. The sign reads, “Muzzles are for dogs and slaves. I am a free human being.”

The message I got, was like a muzzle, the placement from an ” owner” / government decides when a person, eats, speaks, drinks..a simili of the control the government has taken..not a muzzle is equal to a mask! Really? Its not a debatable issue, no one wants their freedoms, liberties taken away. The masks do not totally prevent CoV19..or doctors/ nurses would not have gotten sick.i wear a mask at times if greater exposure and to protect others from myself. But, I also know as a chemist, that if you can smell smoke then the masks are only preventing your saliva from getting to air. Most folks do the right thing, so do we need a mandate from our government?
