Eda Bachrach’s recent hysterical rant against Eureka City Council candidate Joe Bonino (Mailbox, Oct. 11) was beyond unfair. Accusing Bonino of being a liar and his supporter Rex Bohn as a borderline criminal based in part on the similarity of their campaign signs borders on pathological!!
I support Joe Bonino for Eureka City Council on the merits. Slimy, unfounded attacks by Bonino’s opponents confirm that choice again. Just saying.

Did he finally reveal who was behind all those phony organizations that blanketed my house with fliers?
Of course not!
Only a few council candidates in Eureka have ever won without the same old contributors supporting Bonino.
Public-interest media used to love exposing corruption like that.

The phony Repubs for Gallegos showed up in my mailbox – I’d provide a link, but I dont want you putting cherry bombs in my mailbox.
I also got a deceptive mailer from Bonnie indicating support from groups who hadnt endorsed her, but dang it, it went into the trash. I suggest sorting through the recycling down at Recology, thats the best link I can give you at this point.
Nobody said George Clark did it, read a bit more closely, friend.
Gallegos also got caught campaigning from his offices at the County – which is a big no no. Using governmental emails and county resources is a huge no no.
There is a DA employee currently out on admin leave who has alleged a lot more than that, but the above is verifiable. Google it, I’m to lazy to provide links.

The only excuse for Bohn is that “Neely and Gallegos did it”!?
Except…..there’s no evidence that Neely or Gallegos were ever endorsed by a phony front group!
Why would you try and take away the Bohn campaign’s claim to local electoral history?
