Local artist Rick St. Charles — artist? I guess you could call him an artist — would like to remind local beachgoers about the danger of sneaker waves along our shores.

Let me say this about that: Incredible photoshop work, but the first layer of Rick St. Charles alone was taken from an outtake of the film Saturday Night Fever when Mr. St. Charles was hired as a stunt dancer for John Travolta during the dance scenes. If you watch the film, Rick is in all of the distant dance scenes and Travolta was only used for the close-ups.
And, Mr. Garca, did you know Slim Pickens actually worked as a rodeo clown and performed at the Fortuna rodeo in his pre-Hollywood days. Yup, my pop saw him crawl inside the barrel on many occasions.
Subtle? Beware the flying brick!
