After the investigators from CPB and the Chancellor’s office get through looking into financial changes at KHSU, he might be able to listen to her along with his new pen pals.
Extremely doubtful he’ll be going to jail. Don’t think there’s any illegal thing going on. It’s just the university exerting much more control over KHSU…which really will hurt the station’s standing in the community. Without trust and the community feeling like the station is accountable to its supporters, it spells big trouble for the future. But it’s all right now, in fact it’s a gas. As in flatulence.
There is NOTHING illegal going on with the finances. God, this community loves to jump on the conspiracy band wagon. Seriously, do you even understand what the fund transfer was all about?
There’s more to it than simply the transfer of reserve funds. After the Sterns debacle, procedures for handling donations were put in place which have now been undermined.
Over the past few years there has been an awful lot of turnover at the rank and file level, and perhaps above, in HSU’s various finance and accounting staffs, and it may well be that chaos reigns. Plus the financing software has presented challenges, which may or may not have been successfully addressed.
I posted to this blog a few days ago, and I saw it here afterward but then it disappeared. What gives?
Moot now, but hey.
“elusive middle ground”?
What about when we all got together and held hands when Bill the Chimp died?
