The Humboldt County Elections Office has issued its final election night report, adding about 1,019 votes to the tally, with 31,417 votes counted thus far, representing about 37.07 percent of registered voters.

The big news here on the ballot measure front remains to be that Eureka’s controversial Measure F is getting divisively voted down, while Measure O, the countywide 1-percent sales tax, is passing handily thus far. A sales tax measure in Arcata, Measure H, meanwhile, is also getting the nod from voters, while a similar effort in Fortuna, Measure P is getting rejected.
