Some very valid points. The main thing to remember is he's apparently on the correct side of the law, no matter how emotional folks get. Since the law is so old, it doesn't seem likely that it will be changed any time soon. It does take a certain type of person to become the most hated man in the county, however, and all the legalese in the world can't make his business model less sleazy.
I wonder if Estelle and Rex are angry they didn't get to just do it their gosh darn way? They should ask Lee if they are angry or what.

So, that Blue Lake profile is the one that Magical Rob Arkley and his faith-based fans are going to take on their hour and a half magic train trip to Red Bluff? You know, they criticize marijuana all the time, but what the hell are they on? It's hard to tell if they're really dumb or really crazy. Tunnels, bridges, a whole new alignment......I was under the impression that they had worked on an actual project before, but clearly those were pretend projects. Did I say magical?
Apparently they didn't hear about the Klamath court decision favoring aboriginal rights down in the Valley. They're still in the same old "give us yer water, dammit, we need it and you don't, and we gots us some rich friends" mode that defined 20th century water rights in California.
