Annie and Mary Day

What:

 The 44*th* annual Annie & Mary Day celebration will be on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Perigot Park in sunny Blue LakeThe festivities will begin with the traditional pancake breakfast put on by the Mad River Grange.  Annie & Mary Day parade will follow with the Samba Dancers, classic cars, and quirky floats.  Humboldt Folklife Society will present music with The Striped Pig Stringband, Clean Livin’, Lonesome Roses, No Good Redwood Ramblers, the Real Vocal String Quartet (from San Francisco), and the Bayou Swamis performing.  Arts and crafts vendors, Barbecue by Blackberry Bramble, pony rides and petting zoo for the kids, bocce ball tournament and much more will be in store for those attending.  This is a free event.  For additional information call 707-668-5450.
