Hot Hot

(May 22, 2008)  Hot hot hot as the dickens out
Here in the land of northern cool as cool can be
As cool as a cucumber
And a redwood tree
Foggy cool
I’ve been cold for 5 years since I left New York cool

All this hot
Yellow mountain lion prowlin’ in the yard hot
Big black bear in the stinkin’ compost hot
Sprinkler out
Popsicles and woke up my husband
To make love in the middle of the hot hot night hot
(to his surprise delight) hot
