All the signs of summer are here! Like the fabulous Wiyot language signs you see popping up along the Eureka boardwalk. Once you see one, you start seeing them everywhere. Like when your feet carry you along ancient paths like the Vou’gul Trail, named for the delicious huckleberries that sustained the people.
Celebrate the bounty of Humboldt’s coast all summer long through festival and food. Feast on the artistic offerings for the ear and eye. Don’t forget the fam! Your children will be expanding their knowledge of slime science, so ice cream rewards are in order (for you, too). Get some sand in your shoes and have a happy Humboldt summer.
