The Humboldt Builders Exchange is honored to welcome award-winning entrepreneur and community leader Letitia Hanke to Humboldt County for a series of school visits and a special community event.
In partnership with the Humboldt County Office of Education, Hanke will speak with students at local schools throughout the county. Her visit is designed to inspire and guide the next generation of tradespeople, entrepreneurs and community leaders while introducing students to the many possibilities available through careers in the trades and business ownership.
Hanke is the founder and CEO of ARS Roofing & Gutters, a successful woman-owned company based in Santa Rosa, Calif. A Lake County native, she has earned recognition for her entrepreneurship, leadership and commitment to giving back. Her story has also been featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
As part of her visit, HBE Women in Construction will present “A Rare Night of Inspiration,” a special evening seminar for the general community on Oct. 16 at 5:30 p.m. in Eureka. Tickets are $25 for HBE members and $35 for nonmembers, available at humbx.com/events. All proceeds from the evening event will benefit The LIME Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing vocational training, mentorship and educational opportunities for young people.
The event is not only for those working in construction and the trades. Entrepreneurs, educators, business leaders, students and anyone seeking inspiration are encouraged to attend. Hanke will share her personal journey, lessons in leadership and insights into overcoming challenges while building a successful business.
