The Rotary Club of Eureka has awarded a $1,500 grant to Humboldt Family Service Center (HFSC), a nonprofit agency providing affordable mental health services across Humboldt County. The grant will fund required clinical training for clinicians working toward licensure.
Accessible mental health care is a growing need in Humboldt County, where many residents face long waits for therapy and nearly one in five live at or below the poverty line. Rotary’s support will help HFSC maintain a highly trained team to serve local children and families, directly enhancing the quality and stability of youth mental health services.
