  1. I was heartbroken to just hear the news. Bill was an amazing friend and an even more amazing asset to our planet…I will miss you so much Bill…I absolutely regret not making an greater effort to talk with you in the last month…rest in peace friend…you were a noble warrior. I wish I got to tell you that I loved you…you will be greatly missed~

  2. Very strange man. Sorry your dead but your very strange. Everyone talks about the environmentalist but nobody is talking about his obsession with young men, hitch-hikers, S&M, porn, pot, hated woman, and had major psychological issues….like, he’d flip out wothout reason or notice. Very strange.

  3. Sounds like Shane has never heard the adage about not speaking ill of the dead. I write as a female friend of Bill’s, and regarded him also as a mentor. Bill knew his views on many things were different than those of mainstream society, which is exactly what made him a warrior, as Seth said above. Safe travels through the bardos, friend.

  4. …Bill had mentioned a “Shane” that lived with him for atleast two years…well…part of that was spent in jail and under a restraining order not to go near Bill as he was arrested for suspicion of elder abuse. This is the same Shane that smoked copious amounts of herb, had violent verbal (physical?) bipolar breakdowns at Bill’s house. If this is the same Shane…you should be ashamed of yourself…Bill put a roof over your head for a long time. I at one time housesat for Bill and I also knew him from 1988 until his passing…everything written above by that derelict is total fantasy.
