Zen for Nothing

Hidden in the wooded mountains on the west coast of Japan is the small Zen monastery Antaiji. Sabine Timoteo from Bern sets off to immerse herself in the adventure of monastic life from autumn to spring. The abbot of the monastery is Muho Nölke, born in Berlin. ZEN FOR NOTHING is an interaction of the philosophy of the Japanese Zen master Kodo Sawaki with the surprises of everyday life.
