Join Redwood Region Audubon Society on Saturday, July 30, 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.for a Women & Girls Birdwatching Walk in the forests of the College of the Redwoods campus led by Forestry Instructor Valerie Elder. Learn about the trees and forest ecosystems that support birds, including large native species like Sitka spruce, redwoods, and Douglas fir as well as willows, maples, and even the non-native ornamental species seen around campus.
