Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

What Would Jesus Buy?

When: Sun., Dec. 11, 5:30 p.m. 2016
Price: $5 donation. Soup and bread for the first 20 people.
TRUEntertainment presents its December documentary; "What Would Jesus Buy?", a comedic examination of the commercialization of Christmas in America, that follows activist Reverend Billy and the "Church of Stop Shopping" Gospel Choir. The Choir is on a mission to save Christmas from the Shopocalypse; the end of humankind from consumerism, over-consumption and the fires of eternal debt. The film also explores the role sweatshops play in America's mass consumerism and Big-Box Culture. After the film we will engage in a conversation about things that matter. Be prepared to be inspired, uplifted and be the change you want to see in the world, through art and activism. $5 donation. Soup and bread for the first 20 people.
