Weaverville Community Band and Chorus Annual Spring Concert

Price: Free, donations appreciated
The concert will feature a wide variety of music, from the madrigal piece “Bonny Lass She Smileth” by Thomas Morley to crowd pleasers from George Gershwin and Irving Berlin, to more modern pieces from famed funk/soul songwriting duo Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards to a special piece, Haleakala, composed by Carl Strommen inspired by the volcano on Maui in Hawaii.
