Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Vigil to End Concentration Camps

When: Fri., July 12, 8:30 p.m. 2019
Price: Free
True North Organizing Network’s Spanish-Speaking Local Organizing Committee is hosting a candlelight vigil for refugees currently imprisoned in concentration camps at the southern border. The vigil is part of the national Lights for Liberty effort and will include testimony and prayer from members of the immigrant community as well as spiritual leaders and allies. We invite the larger community, including elected officials and public servants, to join us in prayer and protest over the inhumane conditions currently faced by migrants on U.S. soil.
