Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

UU's and #BlackLivesMatter

When: Sat., Sept. 24, 7-9 p.m. 2016
Phone: 707-822-3793
Price: Free
The public is invited to a screening of the UU Service of the Living Tradition: ‘UUs and #BlackLivesMatter’, Saturday, September 24, at 7pm, Humboldt Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (24 Fellowship Way, Bayside). Rev. Bill Sinkford urged Unitarian Universalists in to “confront hard truths we would rather avoid” and to see themselves “not as the already conscious waiting for others to wake up,” but as activists willing to join Black Lives Matter protests, Pride parades, and, generally, “not to look away this time.” Join Minister Bryan Jessup in viewing and discussion of what #Black Lives Matter means for Humboldt County.
