Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
Celebrate and serve this César Chávez Day with the Watershed Stewards Program and California State Parks. Improve estuary habitat for salmon and trout by removing non-native and invasive vegetation. Meet at the Little River State Beach gravel parking lot where we’ll walk a half-mile to the estuary. Please bring a water bottle, sun protection, and closed-toed shoes. Food, drinks, and gloves will be provided. Volunteers will receive one free day pass to Patrick’s Point State Park. Contact Deja with any questions at dmalonepersha@blm.gov
