Joe is somewhat correct while Al (above) is wrong about Blue Lake and Fairhaven. All biomass power plants are suffering, some from the lack of fuel, most due to low rates from the utilities. Fairhaven and two other Northern California biomass plants serving PG&E are currently shut down due to very low rates for the power they produce. Blue Lake is shut down due to a shortage of wood fuel.
