'Twas the Night Before Christmas

Presented by Trillium Dance Studio and The Ink People, with a cast of more than 250 dancers from 4 years to adult. Toys under the tree come to life. Story and choreography by Artistic Director Erin McKeever. This year the role of Ballerina Doll will be danced by Islay Dillion-Ogden, Jared Mathis returns to the role of mischievous Pirate King, who along with his pirate cohorts attempts to steal the golden star atop the Christmas tree. In the soloist role of Gingersnap is Roshelle Howard, who danced in the first production nine years ago as one of Santa's little elves. Also returning to narrate the poem is Kevin Sharkey. Special performances from Triliium Dance Ensemble and Junior Ensemble. Joining them with dance styles ranging from ballet & contemporary to tap & Latin dance are drummer monkeys, elves, small teddy bears, rag dolls & shining ornaments … just to name a few. And of course, Santa, too.
