Highlighting some of the inspiring, unique, amazing local women activists who are passionate in their activism. Nezzie Wade, President of AHHA (Affordable Homeless Housing Alternatives); Darlene Spoor, Executive Director of AHP (Arcata House Partnership); Janelle Harris, organizer of Forgotten Initiative: Resource Center for Foster Children; Terry Uyeki, one of the organizers of Women's March in Eureka; Sierra Leash, Syrian refugee activist; Valerie McGowan, director of the Vegan Society of Humboldt and Social Justice book club organizer; Tamara McFarland, founding member of a chapter of SURJ (Showing up for Racial Justice). Moderators: Lorna Bryant and Jessica Eden KHSU will be recording this panel to air it at the later day.
