The Ancient Forest Sangha of Humboldt Bay invites you to a day of mindfulness focused on calming and nourishing the body through mindful breathing. The retreat will be led by Alexa Singer-Telles who received dharma transmission from Thich Nhat Hanh. By attending to the body, the mind can relax, and we can be present for the wonders of life. There will be time for sitting and walking meditation, deep relaxation, a dharma talk, and mindful sharing. Please bring: a vegetarian lunch, mat, blanket, and sitting gear (chairs also available). No one turned away for lack of funds.
