Documentary

On March 13, 1997, while looking skyward for a glimpse of the Halle-Bopp Comet, thousands of Arizona residents also witnessed a mile-wide, V-shaped formation of lights or craft slowly and silently gliding over their heads. ABC, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, The Discovery, Travel, History, Science Channels and USA Today were just a few to report on the story. UFO buffs call it "the most documented mass sighting ever recorded." The official explanation is that the lights were flares dropped by military aircraft. Many experts and witnesses insist that what they saw were definitely not flares, but something beyond this world. To celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the now historic and still unexplained 1997 AZ mass UFO sightings, Harkins Theaters is joining with the Phoenix Lights Network for the 14th year to offer a unique COMMUNITY Event on Sunday March 17 from 1 pm to 5 pm. Not only does this one of a kind gathering include the screening of the latest internationally award winning Phoenix Lights Documentary, there will also be prominent Speakers, a Q and A, plus Book signing by key witness Lynne D. Kitei, M.D. This special Event has been sold out every year since the World Premier of the Film at Harkins Shea in 2005, so we recommend getting your tickets early and hope to see you there!
