The Local Wildlands Conservancy Preserves: Behold the Beauty Online

Redwood Region Audubon Society welcomes Alex Blessing, North Coast Preserves Manager for The Wildlands Conservancy, who will discuss how the Conservancy expanded their network of preserves to include the North Coast of Humboldt County. In 2008, the Eel River Estuary Preserve was acquired. This 12,000 acre preserve includes coastal marsh, pasture lands and dunes with eight miles of trails to explore, as well as excellent birding.The Seawood Cape Preserve, near Trinidad, was acquired in 2018. Visitors can hike along coastal bluffs to Scotty's Point and enjoy vast views, birds, marine mammals, tidepooling and fishing. Visit for Zoom link.
