Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
The Humboldt Center for Constitutional Rights will host its first-ever “HumRights Bar Debate” to help foster civil dialogue in public spaces. The topic for the inaugural event will be housing development in Arcata. Community members Chante’ Catt (pro-development) and Joshua Sales (a seasoned HSU student debater) will discuss the reasons for and against building more housing. The conversation will be moderated by Paul Pitino, Arcata City Council member.
