HSU's 2016/17 Excellence in Teaching—Lecturer awardee, Professor of Psychology and Critical Race, Gender, & Sexuality Studies, Dr. Melinda Myers, presents her lecture It's Personal: Teaching from a Relationship Perspective. In this presentation, data evaluating the Psychology department’s introductory course redesign will be presented in the context of enhancing the relationship between instructor and student across disciplines, and between ourselves and Humboldt. We’ll then explore what it means to #bleedgreenandgold, and to hold social justice at the center of what we do and how we teach.
