A.k.a the Aleutian Cackling Goose Fly-Off & Family Fun Weekend. Join interpretive guides along the trail to view the habitats of southern Humboldt Bay at sunrise. Watch thousands of Aleutian cackling geese fly off their night time roosts. Family fun activities include bird silhouette painting and bird house building at the Visitor Center from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Bring a mug for coffee, tea or cocoa. Gate opens at 6 a.m.
