Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

The fifteenth annual Storytelling Festival by the Sea is happening this year at the Arcata Presbyterian Church for the first time. Guest storytellers include the infamous Patrick Ball and his melodious celtic harp, local Indian tell Frank Lake, hilarious Mary Lawrence, Dream Quest Youth, and the North Coast Storytellers. The festival is a once a year opportunity to bathe yourself in the waters of the oral tradition of storytelling. There will be story swaps, some musical accompaniment, and tales from near and far. For all ages!
