Arts Alive! is heading outside!
Chuck Johnson is bringing an outdoor photography installation called “Soul Night Captured” to the MGMA’s backyard sculpture garden.
These large scale, wheat-pasted, black and white photographs depict the ecstatic ritual of Soul Night at Humbrews, one of the most coveted nightlife experiences in Humboldt County.
While you take in these amazing party photos, you can get down to the tunes of Matt N’ Adam (Soul Night's regular DJs) who will be DJing an outdoor dance party in the museum loading dock!
