Share the Beach Docent Training

Enjoy long walks on the beach and talking to people about beach ecology? Become a Share the Beach Volunteer Docent! Docents are needed to help inform beach goers about the Western Snowy Plover, a threatened shorebird that nests on local beaches from March to September. A full training will take place on Saturday May 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the BLM Arcata Field Office, 1695 Heindon Road in Arcata.
