The Humboldt Permaculture Guild invites you to get ready now for next spring’s Seed & Plant Exchange by learning what you need to know to save your own seeds. Levon Durr—a Guild member, avid backyard gardener and permaculture instructor—will give a short presentation and lead a discussion covering topics such as genetic diversity, pollination, isolation, wet processing, and seed storage. A seed cleaning demonstration will follow. Please bring seeds you would like to clean, as well as stories and questions about your experience with backyard seed saving.
