Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Please tune in to KMUD on Thursday, May 30th at 7pm for the Sanctuary Forest Radio Hour. Lands Program Director Galen Doherty will be joined by Dan Ehresman from the Northcoast Regional Land Trust and Chris Larson from Lost Coast Forestlands. We’ll discuss what conservation easements are, how they work, and why they’re worth it. We’ll also discuss working forest conservation easements as a tool for keeping forestlands in long-term sustainable production. Finally, we’ll talk about our Van Arken Community Forest Project. Please join us for an exciting conversation about land management, conservation, restoration, and protecting properties in perpetuity.
