Roy Zimmerman returns to Humboldt County on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 7:00pm, with a concert called RiZe UP! for after Election Day. He has new songs, and some of our favorites. Everyone is invited to the Humboldt Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 24 Fellowship Way, Bayside (off Jacoby Creek Road) to listen in to Roy Zimmerman in person. Suggested donation $20, or sliding scale, no one turned away. Roy says: "Sometimes I think satire is the most hopeful form of expression," says Roy, "because in calling out the world's absurdities and laughing in their face, I'm affirming the real possibility for change."
You’re going to want to come out to celebrate or to gnash your teeth, and to be inspired for the next steps we need to take for our democracy. Meanwhile, Roy will give us a treat with new songs like:

Filled with laughs, of course, RiZe Up is also full of heart and inspiration with an undeniable underpinning of love and community. To laugh is to resist! To hope is to resist! Join in a great evening.
